The Axiom System is a planetary system "somewhere in between nothing" and contains a plethora of habitable planets. The time of its discovery is unknown, though it is revealed that it existed even before the Solar System was discovered.
The Axiom System is "owned" by a secret organization whose members name themselves the Authorties. It is unknown how many Authorities exist, as it is claimed that not every planet has been discovered or purposed as a habitable planet.
